Science is the choiest gift of God to man. It is the best and the truest of man. Science has brought us comfort in every field of life. Today man can fly in the air like a bird, swim in water like a fish and sit in the fire as long as he wishes. science is opening new avenues for man. Modern life has been affected in many ways by new inventions of science. Life without science in the modern age is an impossibility. The effect of science on the modern life is so deep that the modern man cannot move even an inch without the help of science.
Science has given as electricity and our every day life is almost dependent on it. Just think , what electricity does for us. It helps us at every step. It has brought us from darkness into light. It has added much to our comfort. Our machines , means of entertainment, fans, coolers, refrigerators and a million other things would become meaningless if electricity disappears from this world. Man will go back to the stone age . His survival on this planet would appear meaningless. Electricity is our true and faithful servant. It cooks our food, sweeps and lights our rooms. It runs electric trains and buses.
We sit comfortably and the fan run by electricity gives us cool air in summer. Similarly, we need not be afraid of winter. An electric heater warms our room during the winter season. Ah! Why to sit in dark? Let electricity give us a flood of light . Why should a house -wife exhaust herself by washing clothes? Let a washing machine run by electricity do this job for her. Similarly , many other duties of a domestic servant are discharged by electricity . In fact, there is hardly any walk of life, where electricity is not playing a vital role.
Just think of the means of communication and transportation. Do they not play a very important role in our daily life? Certainly they do. The swift means of communication and transportation are the backbone of the modern civilization. Can we do without Railways Trains, Motors, Cars, Steamers, Aeroplanes, Ships , Telephone, Telegraph, Mobile, Computer and Wireless? Certainly not! We need them at every step. These blessings of science control and guide our daily life.
Today's busy man cannot move even an inch without the help of these means of communication and transportation. They are the backbone of the modern economy. Without them the wheel of progress will stop moving and man will go back to cart-age. From time immemorial, man has been dreaming of, 'One World' Today, his dream has come true. The swift means of communication and transportation have made the whole one.
Today, it is possible to visit any part of the world. While sitting comfortably in his drawing room, a man can talk to any other man sitting thousands of miles away. In this way, science has help in the growth of internationalism. To narrow the discussion science has conquered time and space.
