Machine Vs Man

If we analyse our daily life, we shall find that it is completely dominated by machines. we get up early in the morning with the help of an alarm clock which is a machine. Our food is cooked by a machine the beautiful clothes that we wear are woven by a machine. our newspapers and books are printed by a printing machine. The bus that takes us to our school, college or office also a machine. The fan or the cooler that keeps our rooms cool in winter and the system that heats our rooms in winter are machines.

Telephone sets, type writers, teleprinters, weighing machine  are all machines. When we switch on a radio, a television or a record-players, we do not forget for a single minutes that they are all examples of machines. Machines are Helping the farmers in their work in the fields.

What is a tractor? Naturally, a machines. And what makes a water pump work? A machine. The machines are also helping the housewives. A few year back, the work of a housewife we dull and tiring. But now the conditions have changed. Machine have come to make her work easy and interesting. Now she has cooking ranges, mixers, hot plates, refrigerators etc. to make her work easy.

Now she need not ruin her health by washing heaps of clothes. A washing machine is at her disposal to do her washing job. And now it is machine that has taken man into space. What is a space-craft? A machine. Not only this now we have Robout-the machine man to do many tedious jobs for us. In other words, every walk of the modern life is dependent on machines. if machines are removed from this world, we will go back to the dark ages.

Unfortunately, the relationship between man and machine is fast changing. Man is the master, the creator of machines. He has every right to use them. But the modern man is too much dependent on machine. His too much dependence on machine has reduced him to the status of a slave to machines.

Today, his dependence on machines has increased to such an extent that he cannot budge even an inch without them. He hates to do manual work. Moreover, too much use of machine has given rise to many social problems unemployment is a gift of machines. Machines have created tension in the mind of man. Because man does not do any manual work, he has fallen prey to many diseases. So, man should reduce his dependence on machines. He should be the master and not the slave of machines.
