Man With Machine

Machines play a very important role in the life of modern man. Modern age, as a matter of fact, is the age of machines and the modern man cannot budge even an inch without the help of machines. He is partically dependent on machines. He needs the help of machines at every step. As a matter of fact, machines are the choicest gift of science to man. They have made our stay on this planet easy and comfortable. They have brought about a revolution in every field. They have helped man in becoming the proud master of the three realms of earth, air and water.

Why did man make machines? Machines are, in fact, the extra limbs of man. Man has made them with a special purpose. He did not wish to do certain things himself. With his physical limbs, he found it very difficult to do certain things. He wanted someone or something to share has burden of work. He needed extra limbs.

Thus by inventing machines, he provided himself with extra limbs. Man did not wish to tire his legs by walking long distances. At the same time, he wanted to travel maximum distances in minimum possible time. So, in order to save himself from tiredness and save his time, he invented extra legs.

He made cars, scooters, trains, ships and  aeroplanes. All these are his extra legs. His extra legs are swifter and stronger than his physical legs. With the help of these legs he has won over time and space. Similarly , man did not wish to take the trouble of remembering many things. Likewise, he did not brains and extra hands to help him in remembering and writing things. Computers type-writers, printing machines, cyclo-styling machines, photo stat and electro-stat machines are his extra brains and extra hands for writing and recording many things.

He did not wish to waste his time in long mathematical calculations. He made calculators to do all calculations for him. He did not wish to lift heavy loads. He made lift-machines to do the task of lifting and removing loads for him. In short, in order to save himself from many tourbles and hard labour, man invented machines.
