Science and Man's Future

Science, like a loving wife, is jealous of God and so the enemy of religion and faith. In the materialistic world of today, man has lost faith in God. He has become selfish, greedy, proud and irreligious. With the help of powers giving to him by science he has dethroned the real God and has himself captured his seat.

Modern man feeds and decorates his body but starves his soul. After all what has come out of this tendency of man. The modern man in his live for money power and position has lost his soul which is fundamental. What a bad bargain! The springs of nobility and goodness have dried up in man altogether and he has turned into a blood sucking Dracula.

The misuse  of the powers of science has thrown man in the trap of hurry and worry. Hurry; worry and unrest are written on the face of the man of today. He views every-things with coloured classes. As such, this world has become like the filthy den of a monstress where there is foul-smell and venom only and where the brightness of love can never enter.Science has given man machines so that he may use them as his extra-limbs . Unfortunately, man's dependence on machine has increased to the status of ugly slavery. Instead of becoming a master of machines, he has become their slaves. His dependence on machines has rendered him a useless creature.

However, if science meant for man's happiness and joy employed for man for his own destruction, who can help him? It is certainly not the fault of science if we go on multiplying the engines of death and destruction. Science came to man as a friend intending to make him happy and prosperous. It raised him to the status of gods. But man's selfishness forced him to misuse the power of science and become a devil. This devil has changed the sweet music of science into a siren's voice that bures into the abysm of enternal death.

Man! head the Waring, and be careful in the use of the power of science. Any misuse of these powers can result in your doom. Please keep in mind  the following warning of poor Bhatia:
"Beware!Beware! and use with care,
The might of science which is so rare,
Else dig thy grave with thy own hands
And invite thy doom which so near stands."
